Everything was very good and the rooms were well-appointed. There was accommodating staff and the service was friendly. It was a quiet and perfect location really close to coast, easy reach tourist destinations such as Canterbury, Whitstable town and Herne bay, and the lovely garden.

We had such great stay.

The room was spacious and fairly quiet with nice ensuite bathroom, the staff was exceptionally nice.

The spacious garden chalets offered a charming atmosphere.

The room got excessively hot. The shower pressure was weak, disappointing . The walk to the seafront was longer than expected, requiring significant planning for transport.

Room got excessively hot due to the felt roof and required more shade during breakfast. Limited bus service on Sundays meant planning was necessary, and the distance to the beach took longer than expected with a 30-minute walk.

The cleanliness and spaciousness impressed me, along with the a mini fridge and a good selection of teas, including decaf. Breakfast outdoors, amidst the lovely garden, provided a good start to the day. The hosts were cute and made sure I had everything I needed, even providing dog amenities if you're a pet owner. Parking was a bit restricted, and the distance to the seafront took longer than expected-approximately a 30-minute walk. It's worth planning transport ahead, especially since there are limited bus services on Sundays.

The garden view was beautiful, and the cabin was super cozy with thoughtful dog treats waiting for us.

It was just a balanced option for one night in Chestfield with fantastic value for money. The friendly host even prepared treats for our dog, which we really appreciated. Plan your transport ahead since buses run infrequently on Sundays.

We enjoyed a good stay with a warm welcome from our host. The spacious room offered fine views. Breakfast was a treat, served hot and fresh. Perfect for couples looking for a quiet retreat near nature. Pro tip, plan your transport, as public services are limited.

the shower was a bit weak (needs an upgrade), but the bed was very comfortable and clean. owners were lovely and friendly. The breakfast was delicious (especially the coffee! ). close to amenities too.

Stayed at the hillview for one night. Received a warm welcome from jane and enjoyed a spacious beautiful double room with a fine view. The breakfast delivered to our room was hot and delicious. It's close to the crab and winkle way too!

The breakfast here is amazing, especially the toast and fresh fruit salad, and the service is really helpful.

We loved Whitstable and found the hotel to be quiet and situated in lovely surroundings. the location was incredible, being adjacent to the wildlife, Hillview was amazing, with a bird-filled garden and countryside. - the lake was just a 10-minute walk from the property, which was convenient.
